"The band, after many line up changes became stable in the end of 1991 and in February/1992 having a deal with a small Greek independent label, BLACK POWER recs, entered the studio to record its first official release, a mini LP titled “Balance Of Power”. Using total analog methods and the 16-tracks that PRAXIS studios had that season, ACID DEATH recorded and mixed 7 songs in just 40 hours. The whole recording was ready in March/1992. The financial problems that BLACK POWER recs faced delayed and finally cancelled its release that was scheduled for May/June 1992… The band broke the deal signing with the famous MOLON LAVE recs, the bigger Rock/Metal label Greece had that season, and released a 7” EP titled “Apathy Murders Hope” in April/1993, using three songs from that recording. This 7” EP was ACID DEATH’s first official release after their first and only demo-tape. For first time after 17 years, this mini-LP that was saved on a simple chrome-tape -the original master belongs to a record factory in Slovakia- sees the light at its first complete format. Hey guys, this blog seems to be deserted for quite some time, but that is not the case exactly. During this sort of 'hiatus' period, I have been updating my other blog, which is the SINISTER MERCH blog, where we got alot of metal shirts up for sale. So I think it's about time I return here & do some decent uploading pretty soon. As for uploading goes, I'll widens my preference a bit this time around. I have decided to broaden my scope of focus beyond my country, Malaysia. This means, I'll try to put some really good band for you to listen which would came from other Asian countries & worldwide. This is for promotional purpose & I hope you will check them out and give them support... Hey there guys...It's been a very long while since I updated this blog. Well, I didn't have the damn internet connection at home anymore, so there is very little I could do for the blog update. I did realised that almost all the DOWNLOAD links in my page is DEAD! Well, so much for free server eh?

Although DAMIEN appearance to the scene is somehow quite anonymous, the people behind it surely has got a firm background within the metal circuit. DAMIEN could be considered as Malaysian own allstar band consisting peoples from BRAINDEAD, SIL KHANNAZ, VOCIFERATION ETERNITY & NECROTIC CHAOS. I have seen them playing their one time show ever in 2005, and it kicked ass! DAMIEN is for those who dig MORBID ANGEL, RAEBELLIUN or old KRISIUN. Originally it was released as tape EP from Nebiula Prod. In 2002, but later on it was repressed as limited edition mcd by a Japanese (if I’m not mistaken) label.
